Healthy Salted Caramel Dessert

This is my NEW favorite dessert!

If I want a sweet treat, this hits the spot every time.

The Greek Gods make a yogurt flavor called “Honey Salted Caramel” and it’s SO good!

The sugar is a bit high, but I can’t imagine what the sugar content in cakes, brownies, or cheesecakes is.

Plus, you are getting probiotics that are beneficial to a healthy gut and immune system.

Don’t get me wrong…I love cheesecake! But this yogurt dessert is something I can have every day, just in a small serving. Cheesecake and other desserts I try to save for special occasions.

It’s super easy – simply add a small serving to your bowl, add granola, and wala! You are done.

There are so many different flavors of granola, find what you like best!

You could even add a few real chocolate chips (made with cacao), fruit (see below, my daughters love dried fruit in theirs), or coconut.

Health Tips

Tip#1: The point of making healthier changes is not to take dessert out of your life. Simply find healthier alternatives.

There are lots of flavored yogurts out there – experiment and have fun!

Tip#2: Use a small bowl. The bigger the bowl, the more likely you are to fill it up.

Tip#3: Pre measure your servings. This goes with any meals or snacks you eat. Take a look at the calories/carbs/fat grams (if you’re counting) and literally count out the items, or measure them, to be sure you are sticking within the amount you should for a snack.
